To support and empower women so they can rebuild after crisis. By providing one on one support -and by providing personal advocacy towards crisis resolution, we hope to empower women – giving them the skills and support they need to rebuild their lives.

OUR PROGRAM
Crisis Resolution: We start with crisis resolution including shelter, food, clothes, and access to crisis counseling. Our clients meet with an advocate daily while in crisis resolution. The advocates support clients with applying for services, meeting with caseworkers, going through court trials and finding support groups. The advocates follow a specially designed resolution schedule created to nurture and calm the vagus nerve and remove the fight or flight survival mode. The resolution period can last up to 90 days.

MySistersPlace: If long term support is needed to rebuild, clients are recommended for our residence program. My Sisters Place is a place where women and children can focus on healing, connecting and growing. Residents are given access to ongoing counseling services, childcare services, job placement, credit repair services and career planning and mapping.

Be Her Village L3C is a hybrid between a non-profit and for profit. This allows us to have a gift shop, host events to fund our mission pay advocates and fundraisers. We are not tax exempt, we pay taxes and any gifts, contributions or purchases are not tax deductible. To learn more about how an L3C is structured and their purpose click here.
